NATIONAL DAY

On 31st august, Malaysian from all walks of life come together to celebrate the nation Day to mark Malaysia's independence  To commemorate this significant occasion, A month-long celebration takes place in kuala lumpur and throughout the country.Major activities include exhibitions, colorful parades and spectacular fireworks. The proud display of  Malaysian flags in the city is a sight to behold.


Other events include the nation water festival month, National Arts Month and Food and Fruits Fiesta.  

NEW YEAR'S EVE

Join Malaysians in the countdown to usher in the new year. Open-air celebration and concerts and grand affairs and are held at various location in the city such as dataran merdeka and KLCC .

ROTI CANAI: this traditional malaysian breakfast is a light crispy pancake made from wheat floor. Watch the experts pound, stretch and toss the dough and then cook it to perfection on a griddle. Roti canai is the best savoured with lentil or chicken curry









AIR BATU CAMPUR: This dessert makes an excellent thirst quencher on a hot afternoon. Air batu campur or ais kacang is a bowl filled to the brim with shaved ice and condiments such as red beans, groundnuts, corn and fruits, sweetened with condensed milk and sugar syrup.
















CENDOL: This dessert consist of shaved ice and coconut milk, and sweetened with brown sugar syrup. Its main ingredient is the cendol, or noodle-like strips made of green bean flour.


















PASEMBOR: A local salad of shredded vegetables with curried squid and deep fried crab served with a spicy, nutty sauce. An alternative is the rojak buah or fruit salad mixed in a sauce made of fermented shrimp paste.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS

The largest hill resort in the country, situated about four hours' drive from kl, is a refreshing retreat with majestic hills and undulating valleys. Situated at about 1,524m above sea level, it is home to sprawling tea plantation, terraced flower gardens, orchards with colorful exotic blooms and lush vegetables farms.


The atmosphere here is cool and calm with picturesque views everywhere.Go on a guided tour of the tea processing factories to witness how tea is made and packaged.Visit a strawberry farm and sample delicious homemade jams.The flower nurseries, with their multihued  blooms make for great snapshots. Visitors can play a round of golf in a temperate-like ambience. Accommodation in Cameron Highlands include charming cottages and chalets reminiscent of the British era.
